Who We Are

We are the “All-American” family – a Mid-western couple with two small kids and a dog.  We don’t take ourselves too seriously, but we take our sleep very seriously these days.  We’ve endured bouts of insomnia over the past 7 years – and not just from having a colicky infant.  With a chronic illness leading to surgeries, pharmaceuticals, a medical discharge from the military, and many traditional western medicine treatments, we took our health into our own hands.  In researching and putting into practice whole health philosophies – by careful monitoring what we ate, how we thought, and what we surrounded ourselves in, healing began.

What We Believe

We believe in the importance of a wholly healthy environment for all family members, because of the significant impact it has on health, attitude, and the environment.  We believe that a toxic environment has a large role in a toxic mind, body, and spirit.  When you spend nearly 1/3 of your adult life in bed – and 2/3 as a baby – your bedroom surroundings play a vital role in how you are living.  Sharing information and products that will improve the quality and longevity of your life is at the heart of this business.

Origin of Appleseed Babies

“Oh, the Lord’s been good to me, and so I thank the Lord for giving me the things I need – the sun and the rain and the appleseed.  The Lord’s been good to me.  Johnny Appleseed.  Amen.” 

We sing this lullaby to our 3 year-old each night before bed.  Out of all the songs we sing at night, this one always sticks and it is the perfect way for us all to end our day – grateful, peaceful, sweet.
