Shipping Policy

Depending on the item purchased, it may take 7 to 10 days to ship from the manufacturer. Once an order is placed, Appleseedbabies.com will provide the customer with an estimated ship date upon checkout.  Please understand that this is an estimate and subject to change. Once an item has shipped, transit time can vary by a week or more depending upon delivery location and method of shipment.

 

Most items are shipped via Fed Ex or UPS small package.  Once an order has shipped, an email with tracking numbers is sent to the email address you provided during checkout.  It is the customer’s responsibility to track the item and make arrangements to be on site to sign for delivery of furniture and inspect for any possible damage incurred while in transit. Please see our Terms & Conditions for further information on Returns and Defects for furniture and all other items.

 

Again, while we will gladly assist in the claims process, Appleseedbabies.com is not responsible for damage to items while in transit.


Furniture Shipments

Most furniture items to include cribs, dressers, chairs, and certain multiple item orders (to be determined by Appleseedbabies.com) will be shipped via freight.  Freight is delivered curbside to all residential addresses.  Customers must make arrangements to be onsite for inspection and to bring items in doors.  Many of our furniture items are very heavy and will require more than one person to move. Please ensure you have adequate assistance to handle large shipments and/or items delivered curbside. Note any visible damage to the packaging with the carrier prior to signing for the items. If there is visible damage to the furniture, refuse delivery and contact Appleseedbabies.com as soon as possible. Again, please visit our Terms & Conditions policy for further information on how to handle damaged furniture.

 

Customers will be notified and provided with tracking numbers upon shipment of furniture.  Transit can take 3-15 days depending upon location.  It is the customer’s responsibility to track items and be available for delivery.  Once the shipment has reached the destination city, Appleseedbabies.com requests that the customer be called by the carrier to schedule a drop off.  PLEASE be aware, in some cases beyond our control, THE CARRIER MAY NOT CALL, so please track your shipment carefully.  Make note of the carrier’s name and phone number in the event that delivery needs to be rescheduled.


Premium White Glove Delivery

In some areas, a Premium White Glove Delivery service, which includes blanket wrapped delivery into the room of your choice, light assembly if needed, and debris removal is available for an additional fee. Some items such as cribs may not be able to be assembled by this service due to safety restrictions. Shipping fees are calculated upon checkout.  In the Shopping Cart, simply enter your zip code to view an updated total cost including shipping prior to checkout.
